SOLUTIONS FOR YOUR BUILDING TYPE

Retail and hospitality

Elevators and escalators that look as good as your venue and keep shoppers and guests moving. Designed with you, installed around your trading hours, and looked after by one team for the life of your building.

WHY IT MATTERS

First impressions, every trip

In a shopping centre, hotel or venue, the elevator is part of the guest experience. It should suit the design of the space, ride smoothly and quietly, and keep running when trade is at its busiest. VTS designs, installs and services elevators and escalators around those demands, with finishes chosen to match your interiors, precise floor levelling for prams, wheelchairs and luggage, and step-free access for every visitor.

5000P

Panoramic glass elevator

The 5000P turns the ride into a feature. Walls of 10–15 mm laminated or tempered safety glass give guests an open view as they travel, in a round (cylindrical), square or semi-circular car.

Choose the glass tint and frame materials to suit your interior. It is ideal for atriums, shopping centres and hotel lobbies.

FEATURES

Built for busy venues

Smooth, quiet ride

Variable-frequency (VVVF) control stops the car within ±5 mm of the floor, and silent braking control gives soft, quiet starts and stops for a comfortable ride.

Gearless and oil-free

A gearless permanent magnet synchronous machine needs no lubricating oil, for quieter running, cleaner machine spaces and less maintenance.

Lower energy use

A regenerative drive returns braking energy to the building's supply, and standby power is under 50 W, helping to cut running costs in venues with long trading hours.

Safety as standard

Protection against unintended car movement (UCMP) is fitted as standard on our elevators, stopping the car if it moves away from the floor with the doors open.

Design freedom

Glass, car shapes, tints, frames and finishes are chosen with you, so elevators and escalators sit naturally within your interior.

Fits new and existing buildings

A compact layout with the counterweight at the side or rear suits new projects as well as upgrades to existing centres and hotels.
